On Wednesday, August 21st at 7 PM CST, SAAPRI explored key topics on building healthy relationships, understanding contraception options, and practicing safe sex. This event is a part of the Women’s Health Series, an educational initiative dedicated to exploring and addressing health issues that uniquely affect South Asian American women, focusing on key healthcare milestones throughout their lives.
This culturally sensitive series offers expert-led webinars on topics ranging from reproductive health and contraception to cancer prevention and menopausal care. Designed to empower women with knowledge and resources, the series aims to promote informed health choices and overall well-being. By engaging with community partners and providing accessible resources, the Women’s Health Series aims to support South Asian women in navigating their unique health journeys with confidence.
The South Asian American Community Health Forum is an initiative by SAAPRI to address and promote health and well-being within the South Asian American community. This forum serves as an umbrella for a series of health-focused events, webinars, and workshops designed to educate, engage, and empower community members on various health topics. Our goal is to raise awareness, provide valuable information, and foster discussions on health-related issues pertinent to our community.
