Report – Countering Prejudice: Hate Crimes & Discrimination Against South Asian Americans

Our latest report, based on 416 survey responses, analyzes hate crimes and discrimination against South Asians in Chicago, explores reasons for underreporting, and offers recommendations to improve reporting practices. This is the first report we launched at our June “State of South Asian American Affairs” event and part of our ongoing campaign to spotlight important findings in all three reports. It also highlights the diversity within the South Asian community and challenges in data collection.
