On May 18th, 2022, SAAPRI’s Executive Director Shobhana Verma attended the 2022 Impact Summit & Gala, hosted by the Indian American Impact Project, at the Willard InterContinental Hotel in Washington, D.C., representing SAAPRI, who was a partner of the event. The summit program included breakout groups on different issues affecting the South Asian diaspora as well as training sessions to better equip attendees on civic engagement.
