On Wednesday, March 31st, SAAPRI’s Executive Director Shobhana Verma took part in a panel discussion regarding breast cancer, one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers among American women and which one out of eight women in America will develop in her lifetime, and the All of Us Research Program. SAAPRI was able to partner with the University of Chicago’s Center for Asian Health Equity and National Library of Medicine (NLM) on the complementary virtual film screening of the award-winning documentary Life Interrupted: Telling Breast Cancer Stories, which highlights the empowering stories of diverse breast cancer survivors from their perspective.
