On September 1st, 2022, the LGC Class of 2022 Supper Club met to discuss how to take action and tackle issues affecting Chicago’s Asian population, among the fastest-growing racial demographics in the country. The panel included Shobhana Verma, SAAPRI’s Executive Director, Ald. Nicole Lee – 11th Ward, City of Chicago, Don Villar – Secretary-Treasurer, Chicago Federation of Labor, Paul Luu, CEO, CASL, Jered Pruitt, COO, CASL; Brandi Adams, Vice President of Advancement, CASL, and Abbey Eusebio, Manager, Anti-Hate Action Center. We look forward to continuing to tackle the critical issues facing Chicago’s AAPI communities with these leaders at the forefront.
