On December 12th, 2014, reporter Arthur Pais published a story titled “Brown Hands Up Too” about South Asian Americans joining movements against police brutality, featuring an interview with Shubra Ohri, SAAPRI’s pro bono legal consultant. Shubra has assisted SAAPRI in many initiatives, including our efforts to prevent violence against South Asians working in retail stores.
